Edition 2023

The fifth year, that of the turning point

There will be many new features at this festival, now in its fifth edition. Meanwhile, we are proud to have been included in the European network of the REMA ancient music festival. A network that includes and accredits beyond 200 festivals across Europe. This reinforces the idea that our festival has acquired the visibility and international prestige that we wanted to have, built little by little with passion and determination.

On the occasion of this fifth year, the innovations will mainly be in terms of the location of the ten concerts which will be in places rich in history and traditions.

Several municipalities welcomed the festival into their territories. In this regard, we cannot fail to thank the mayors of Uri, Ploaghe, Porto Torres, Sennori and Sorso that, perhaps boldly, will host concerts of ancient music.

The artists who will perform will offer us very varied musical programs of high musicological and musical value such as the concert dedicated to the music of Alessandro Scarlatti performed as a world premiere, There will be other forms of the concert that besides being “traditional” they will be in the form of a concert with theater and music. This year there will also be a concert dedicated to the music of the Middle Ages to listen to even more unusual instruments.

Together with the president of the Dolci Accenti Association Calogero Sportato, we will never stop thanking our young Team who supports us not only logistically but with an active participation in the life of the association.

And now all we have to do is immerse ourselves in the sound dimension and let the emotions that music evokes pass through us, suspend our worries and return home with a refreshed spirit.
